How many times have you said, or heard someone else say, “So-and-so used to be. . .”

Think of all the endings you have heard to that statement:

• …on fire for God
• …in love with his/her spouse
• …faithful to his/her church
• …a good friend
• …devoted to the Word of God
• …a man/woman of prayer

I hope, by God’s grace, that you are not a “used-to-be.” If you are, get back to where you should be.
